From an early age Yasmina had an eye for the production process and creativity. After her degree in Arts in Barcelona she entered different agencies in London such as Saatchi&Saatchi and Springer&Jacoby UK to get closer to the advertising world.

But very soon she realised that her place was behind the camera. She enrolled at The London International Film School to obtain an MA in filmmaking.
In her days as a Londoner student she had the chance to shoot short films both as director and Dop. Also at The London International Film School she fed her eyes and soul learning from directors such as Mike Leigh (Another Year, Happy-Go-Lucky, Vera Drake), Patrice Leconte (Girl on the Bridge, The Widow of Saint-Pierre, Man on the Train) and Mike Figgis (Leaving Las Vegas, The Sopranos) among others.
Yasmina’s graduation short film “3 washes” won several prizes at International Film festivals.
Upon her return to Barcelona Yasmina went on to direct TV commercials for clients such as Movistar, La Caixa, SEAT, Puig, Mango, El Corte Ingles, etc.
In addition this year her documentary “Medicines, a kidnapped right” was aired nationally on TVE (Spain).
