Together with his wife and two daughters he lives in Berlin - Schöneberg.
From an early age, Lucas’s passion for filmmaking was ignited, tinkering with his dad's VHS recorder and an instant photo camera he won at a Mickey Mouse photo competition, he explored the world through his lens.

This lifelong love for the art of visual storytelling led him to the renowned Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf, where he honed his craft in cinematography and shot his first feature films, which have been screened on Amazon Prime and various film festivals worldwide.
Driven by a passion for hands-on exploration, Lucas has worked his way up from camera-/ lighting assistant and Steadicam operator, gaining invaluable experience behind the lens. Lucas’s dedication to mastering every aspect of production has made him an indispensable asset on film and commercial sets, delivering stunning camerawork that captivates audiences.
