His first experiences he got at the age of 16, filming his friends skiing down mountains and producing ski movies.

It didn’t take long until the first clients came along with small jobs and from there on work life ran its course. With 17 he founded his first company, with 18 he started an apprenticeship at an advertising agency in Nuremberg, with 20 he founded the production company graupause (http://www.graupause.com) with two of his friends and with 24 years he finished his film studies.

His experiences reach from producing low budget documentaries to shooting high end commercials. From sleeping in a tent in
the Iranian Mountains to directing car commercials oll over Europe, Jonas is all about getting the best result for the present format.
Having experienced the two worlds of documentary and commercial filmmaking, both genres shaped his visual language.
In his images he loves to create an emotional and authentic mood by combining real life sincerity with a cinematic aesthetic.
Jonas currently lives in Munich and has worked for clients like Audi, BMW, Porsche, Red Bull, Renault, Puma and many more.“
