In the halls of a former industrial bakery, Daniels (plural for Daniel) from all over the world,
young and old, cross paths.
After a brief welcome speech by the chairman Daniel, amidst the chaotic buzz, two shy glances meet.
"So,... Daniel, I assume?" says Daniel, a little awkwardly, trying to break the ice. Minutes later, Daniel & Daniel realize they were made for each other.

They share identical values and visions while being totally different characters:

While classmates were still struggling through geometry homework, Daniel was sketching after school amongst illustration students at university. He's a prodigy in pre-production, with his creative thinking, storyboarding skills, and a sharp eye for casting,
thanks to his experiences on the other side of the camera.
Daniel prefers reading Tarot cards to really get to know people and is always thinking outside the box for clients and their concepts.

And the other Daniel? Careful: He kills with kindness.
As the smart kid, he finished school with a graduation grade of 0,75. His life is like a perfectly organized Excel spreadsheet but full of colors, textures and shapes. He speaks a visual language that’s both strict, playful and preferably dead-center. As a cinema-lover he knows where to sit, as he keeps a book of the best seats at his favorite theaters.
His post-production skills in editing and sound design elevate every project, since he’s already weaving them into the production phase.

Since then, Daniel & Daniel have been working out of the heart of power/vineyards (aka the Rhine-Main area) as a directing duo.
It's a mystery, where one Daniel ends and the other one begins. Complementing each other’s strengths in the different disciplines of filmmaking and making their dream of quirky, entertaining storytelling a reality.
Both have been active members of the COOP films collective since 2018, which became their own personal film school.

Their independent projects have been showcased and awarded at national and international festivals like the Berlin Lift-Off, Frankfurt’s Lichter Filmfest and in Australia, Bolivia, Poland.
