His fascination for taking pictures and portraits of people gave him an excellent understanding for light and framing and set his vision for an authentic visual mood.

After studying Media Technology in Cologne, he began working for a film production company, where he learned to direct, shoot and edit.

His untamed will for progress made him leave the company after 3 years to pursue his dream of becoming a freelancer in film. First as a director, he soon realized that becoming a cinematographer is his path to achieve what he always wanted - telling visually pleasing stories with a passion for aesthetics.
